Plans (2026-27)

Theme: Expanding Horizons, Enhancing Quality
The IQAC Strategic Plan 2026–27 has been formulated in alignment with the institutional priorities and Management KRAs for 2026–27, with the IQAC focusing on quality enhancement, monitoring, compliance, review and continuous improvement across these priority areas.

  • Expand academic programmes in alignment with NEP 2020 by introducing new UG/PG programmes in emerging and interdisciplinary areas and operationalising Level-6 (Fourth Year UG and First Year PG) across existing programmes.
  • Enhance faculty competence through Faculty Development Programmes on PO-CO mapping and innovative pedagogy.
  • Strengthen the research ecosystem through funded projects, faculty publications, student research initiatives, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
  • Deepen the institution's academic engagement through active national and international partnerships, and structured student and faculty exchange.
  • Strengthen campus placement and industry readiness of students through expanded recruiter engagement, structured training, and data-driven placement planning.
  • Strengthen alumni engagement through the “Podar Alumni Impact Series”.
  • Enhance non-teaching staff capacity through digital skills training and promote staff welfare, well-being and financial awareness.
  • Institutionalise compliance and accountability in event reporting and process documentation.
  • Conduct all mandatory Audits for AY 2025–26.
  • Continue and consolidate previous IQAC initiatives.




Plans (2025-26)

  • Introduce a new undergraduate program to cater to the evolving academic and professional interests of learners.
  • Organize capacity-building sessions and workshops for faculty and students to promote innovation, research, and inclusivity.
  • Evaluate and refine existing quality manuals and SOPs to align with NEP 2020 and NAAC guidelines.
  • To enhance the community outreach program for promoting mental well-being among school children.
  • Enhance student learning outcomes and ensure career readiness in partnership with industry professionals.
  • Implementation of On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for efficient and transparent assessment.
  • Organize an international conference on ESG to foster dialogue on sustainability, ethics, and industry collaboration.
  • To conduct academic audit for 2023-24 and 2024-25.
  • To continue with previous IQAC initiatives.




Plans (2024-25)

  • To implement NEP second year curriculum by adhering to norms given by the Government of Maharashtra.
  • Promote collaborative exchange of courses with nearby colleges.
  • To augment the incubation cell and encourage students to apply for patents.
  • To support and facilitate internships through collaborations.
  • Augmenting IT infrastructure in the college.
  • Digitizing documents and records.
  • Promotion of U.U. Bhat Centre for skill development and social outreach in the adopted village.
  • To continue with previous IQAC initiatives.
