The college has an CEGF( Career and Employment Guidance Forum). to offer counseling to students. Students who graduate have a lot of ideas that they may want to implement right away. They may lack the necessary experience and the expertise, but, there is a lot of adrinalin flowing in them.  The Employment Cell of the college motivates such students to seek self–employment and to achieve this, lectures by successful entrepreneurs are arranged in the campus.  Today, a good number of Podarites have either set up their own firms or gone into partnership with others in the fields of finance, Auditing, Law, Advertising, Business, Computers, and Tourism.

The Career and Employment Guidance Forum (CEGF) is an 18 year old active students body that strives to guide students in choosing an appropriate career. CA firms have been conducting Campus Recruitment in the college for the past several years. Students have also been absorbed in companies like ING Vysys bank and ICICI bank.

Associations like the Study Circle, Library Users Group and facilities like Computer Center and Commence Laboratory provide sufficient academic support to achieve the academic goals of the student.  'Poor Boys Fund' and 'Student Welfare Fund are used to help a few who are eager to learn but, due to a few constraints are unable to afford the educational facilities.
