Rationale/Genesis

Accounting and Finance form the backbone of any business, providing the necessary tools to evaluate financial health, ensure compliance, and drive strategic decision-making. With the evolving landscape of global business and financial regulations, the demand for skilled professionals in accounting, taxation, auditing, and financial management has significantly increased.

India's financial ecosystem is undergoing rapid transformation with digital finance, regulatory changes, and corporate governance playing a crucial role. To capitalize on these emerging opportunities, students need specialized and focused knowledge in accounting and finance. This programme is designed to equip learners with the analytical and technical skills required in modern financial decision-making and regulatory compliance. As an Autonomous Institution, we at Podar have structured this programme to be application-oriented, ensuring that learners are job-ready upon graduation. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications, making students competent in financial analysis, corporate finance,taxation, and risk assessment.

EligibilityCriteria:

Any student who has passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Standard XII) Examination conducted by the different divisional boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and secured not less than 45 percentage marks in aggregate (40 percentage in case of reserved category) at one and the same sitting.

AMust have passed any examination of another University or Board recognized as equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate (Standard XII) Examination and secured not less than 45 percentage marks in aggregate (40 percentage in case of reserved category) at one and the same sitting.
