The Planning Forum jumpstarted its activities for the year 2009-10 with an Eco-Political Quiz. This was followed by other events such as the Brand Equity Quiz and an innovative format of group discussion called Six Thinking Hats. The forum marked the beginning of a new decade ‘2010’, by organising ‘What’s the Economic Word?’ an event exclusively meant for the Junior College.
Sponsored by Economic Times and Indiabulls, MONETA was a financial market event hosted by R.A. Podar College under the auspices of the Planning Forum and Economic Convention. The event was covered by NDTV profit. The MONETA conducted seminars which featured some of the most eminent luminaries from the corporate world and also held events such as The Bull Ring (Mock Stock Market), Reel the Real, Black Gold, Crossword (Word Games), The Bait (Debates), Boardroom (Group Discussions) among many others. This first-of-its-kind event witnessed participation from over 60 colleges from all over India.

The second event was a guest lecturer on mutual fund and other retail investment by Mr. Navin Dadlani a pioneer investment Corp Ltd. 120 students attended the seminar.
An essay competition for the senior college with a mix of topics ranging from the Burning Kashmir issue to inflation and Planning was the next activity of the Forum.
The Essay Competition for the junior college was also arranged, and it covered topics like vision for India, Education and Terrorism.
The spelling Bee and Word games for junior and senior college had an over whelming response. The contestants were quizzed on concepts primarily in the field of economics and finance.
The final event of the forum was the Prize distribution ceremony where the winners of all the competitions held round the year were felicitated.
Year 2007-08

The first event being ‘infotainment quiz’, which is a mixture of questions on all fields like history, politics, sports, brand equity, Hollywood, Bollywood etc. 12 teams participated in the elimination round with 4 teams qualifying for the finals held in the latter part of the year.
The second event for the year was ‘Mock Parliament’ in which there was full parliament session with 25 students participating. Next was the Mock Stock, which was for the college fest Enigma and so there were outside colleges participating in it and the members of the forum turning volunteers.
Last event was another quiz ‘Spelling Bee and Word Games’ which saw the participation of more than 15 teams.
