The Artist Guild is a forum that ensure Podar colleges participation in various inter college festivals like Malhar, Umang, Kaleidoscope etc and at the same time organizes various events in the college. The activities of the forum for the year 2008-2009 started with the organization of Fresher's Day 2008. Along with this an orientation program for the students of F.Y.J.C was also held. The Artist guild also conducted various workshops throughout the year to train the students in fine art events like clay modeling, rangoli, collage etc. The various inter collegiate achievements included winning the overall trophy of Ruia colleges inter collegiate Economics festival called 'Elixir' and sports trophy at their inter collegiate festival called 'Colosseum'

The Artist’s Guild is a forum responsible for the successful undertaking of various cultural events held by Podar College’s participation in various inter-collegiate events.
ENIGMA ‘07
Enigma is an inter-collegiate event organized every year and the theme for the year 2007-08 was “ENIGMA ECHOES”. The festival saw a footfall of 20,000 students during the course of the entire six-day festival. Around 80 different colleges had participated in 70 different events. There were seminars and workshops like the seminar on child sexual abuse by Tulir organization and the sign language workshop by the Helen Keller Institute to give a social aspect to the event. The first ever hockey workshop by Mr. Negie and a community event i.e. ‘visit to the old age home’ was organized during Enigma. There were a number of crowd pulling events like the Street Dance, Movers and Shakers, Slum football, Choreo dance etc. There were performances by the Indian Idol finalists and for the first time ever a live performance by XenBoB band at Enigma. Podar also experienced its first ever-unique rock show. Celebrities from the Bollywood and Television industry like Neil Nitin Mukesh. Sangheeta Ghosh, and Jay Bhanushali were at Enigma. The first place was bagged by S.K. Somaiya (Jr.) College, the second place by Rachana College and the third place by Mithibai College.
SaReGaMaPa
Podar had a special event held by the SaReGaMaPa finalists. Crowd of nearly 2000-2500 with huge media response was witnessed at Podar auditorium. Performers like Abijeet Kosambi, Mauli Dave, Raja, Mushrrat Ali showed their talent on stage and the College singers and dancers accompanied them.
Polo Fresher’s Day
Artists’ Guild conducted a Fresher’s Day sponsored by POLO for the FYJC students. It consisted of orientation and many games conducted by POLO. Students actively participated in the games and won many prizes given away by the sponsors.
Zee Next
Zee Next Channel covered a special feature on Life At Podar. They awarded Non-Teaching Staff Ms.. Ragini Tawade and Mr. Kishan Pagare for their outstanding contribution to college. Zee Next also organized many games and gave away loads of prizes to the college students.
MALHAR
Podar College participated with full enthusiasm after four years at the inter-collegiate event “MALHAR”. Podar proved its prowess in literary and fine arts by standing first in broadcast journalism and many fine art events. It also saw an enthusiastic crowd for performing arts.
MOOD INDIGO
Podar participated with full enthusiasm yet again in Mood Indigo held by IIT Bombay. Dramatics events attracted most of the prizes. Singing events and the literary section were also a part of the prize list.
CRESCENDO
For the third time in a row, Podar College won Crescendo held by the International School of Business and Management-Pune. The college won accolades in every event of the festival. Be it performing arts or fine arts, Podarites were winners all the way. Podar stood first in many of the events like War of RJ’s, Mock Parliament and secured second place in Standup Comedy and third in T-Shirt Designing. It also stood up 1st in cheering and participation.
DRAMATIC-IPTA
Podar qualified to the finals of Hindi play competition held by Indian People’s Theatre Association. Podar had performed the play “Tut Gaye Sare Brahm”
INT-MARATHI
Podar qualified from the elims to the pre elims stage at the most prestigious competition “INT-MARATHI”. Podar had performed the play “atirekanyanche adhyaya ata nakose vattat”.
